Countertop Template Technician

Objective:

Sarto Countertops is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fast-growing stone countertop team as a Countertop Template Technician. The ideal candidate will have countertop or construction experience, a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.

All employees must pass a drug and background test.

Responsibilities:

●     Operate measuring tools and equipment, such as laser templating machine and software, tape measure, and levels in order to create precise templates.

●     Ensure the accuracy and quality of templates by thoroughly reviewing and verifying measurements and specifications.

●     Communicate and collaborate with customers and other team members on essential job details.

●     Evaluate the job site to assess the scope of the project and any potential challenges for installation.

●     Provide accurate and detailed documentation of all job details.

●     A Countertop Templator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate templates for the fabrication and installation of countertops. Attention to detail, technical skills, problem solving, and effective communication are essential qualities of a Template Technician. Thorough training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

●     Clean cut appearance and friendly demeanor

●     Ability to follow Sarto Process and Standards for templating

●     High school diploma or equivalent

●     Ability to pass a background screen

●     Strong communication with customers and teammates

●     Excellent attention to detail

●     Familiarity with basic construction knowledge, preferably countertop or cabinetry

●     Willingness to learn

●     Passion for customer service

●     Passion for producing a high quality end product
